Via IV Novembre, 19 33020 CAVAZZO CARNICO (UD)
The B&B "Casa Capello" enjoys the privilege of being among the oldest homes in the village of Cavazzo Carnico. Built in the late 1600s, to this day it maintains the original Venetian architectural style. Indoors it is possible to admire the antique beams, the sailing ceiling, the original stone stairs and jambs. Guest can choose between two double bedrooms, one of which has a baby bed. The bathroom is shared between the two rooms. All the furniture is the Carnic style, and all custom-built by Granpa Capello. During the summer, the garden functions as an oasis of relaxation.
"Casa Capello" is situated on the main road, a few kilometres away from the Cavazzo Lake. There are many places of worship in the area, such as the eighteenth-century St. Daniel's Church, with its exquisite Venetian furnishings (including a seventeenth-century altarpiece made by D. Tintoretto and F. Bassano), St. Rochs' Church, and St. Stephan's Baptistery in nearby Cesclans. Cavazzo Carnico is a strategic starting point for tourists during all seasons: from here, the main ski resorts are easily reachable. The surrounding area is perfect for interesting walks, hikes, and excursions. Moreover, there are sailing facilities just a few kilometres from the B&B, or you can decide to relax at the Spa in nearby Arta Terme.
